Queen Archetype

Although there is only one true* queen in existence today, the queen archetype is still very present. I look at this archetype as a “modern day” queen which is why the photo isn’t a person of royalty with fancy clothing, but a modern day woman.

The queen sees the highest potential in people and in overseeing her community. She is a person of leadership qualities, fairness and wise. She believes that there is plenty room for all to shine their light.

The queen will attract people she can help and take to the next level. She does this by encouraging them to see their own potential. She also has the ability to align her intuition to assist to the highest potential in situations.

Queens are also filled with confidence. Confidence in manifesting and confidence in their decisions. They take pride in the creation of their kingdom and seeing it through. She is well aware of her power and confident that she will receive exactly what she wanted to create.

But what really sticks out about the queen is that she knows she doesn’t have to do it all. She trusts her kingdom to help her out. She accepts support as her Divine right in the world and her kingdom is happy to help!

IN THE DARKNESS OF THE QUEEN

The queen may become too consumed or focused with a project or goal. When she plays into the shadow side, she will miss the joy in the process that she is creating. Things may even become a “task” when it was a fun project to start with! She won’t see the moments that added up to the big day.

The queen may also forget about self-care if she is too involved in the goal for the community.. Self-care is a must for the queen if in the light. When she forgets her self-nurishing aspect, she will become detached usually with her body. Her health may take a toll because she gives away her power too much.

When she is truly playing in the shadows, she will misuse her power. She may be seen as jealous, envious and even greedy. She may even be jealous of other woman as she perceives them as a threat around her king. The queen can lose her identify in her relationship with the King if trying to gain her control back. Because queens have a strong loyalty and commitment, she may stay in a relationship with an unsuitable king.
