There is nothing and I repeat nothing better than something cool on a hot summer day. Well yes there is…this bowl here. It taste like creamy strawberry chocolate ice cream only healthier and served for breakfast.

Benefit of Strawberries:

Red is the color of the Root Chakra and STRESS!!!! If you are a stressed out person, you are not alone! You may want to toss a few strawberries (the star of this dish) you way!

Strawberries are rich in vitamin C which is what our bodies need to manufacture stress hormones. They contain more than 100 percent of our daily recommended intake of vitamin C in just one cup. Recent studies show that when vitamin C is consumed during times of stress, it actually has the ability to decrease our blood pressure to a normal level, preventing the development of hypertension.

Solar Plexus Chakra 

Throat Chakra 

Ingredients to make the base: (because you know its all about that bass, no trouble!)

  • 1/4 cup cashews
  • 1 cup frozen strawberries
  • 1 scoop chocolate protein powder
  • 2 tbs chia seeds
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • Add water to desired consistency

Directions: Place in a blender until desired thickness is achieved. Place in a bowl Add toppings.

TOPPINGS:

Game is on! Use anything you would like! Ideas include:

  • Blueberries
  • Almonds or any nut
  • Chia seeds
  • Shredded coconut
  • Banana
  • Strawberries
