- Sore throat
- Neck pains
- Thyroid problems
- Hearing problems
- Asthma
- Sinus Problems
The throat chakra is connected to the throat, ears, teeth, mouth and neck of our bodies. Have you experienced one of the above? What is your body saying to you? Take a step in deeper…
Look at the archetypes for the throat chakra – which one do you more likely follow?
The Silencer – Blocked Throat Chakra (Negative)
The Silencer can be more of a people-pleaser kind of person. They say “yes” to everything that everyone asks them, even if they don’t fully want to do so. They may put on the happy face and silence their true feelings just to make everyone else happy or pleased. They silence their inner self without filling their own need to put others feelings first. They may have thoughts of “Yeah, I wanted this, but since everyone else is doing this…I’ll just go with it.” And they shove down the feelings.
The Communicator – Balanced Throat Chakra (Positive)
The Communicator has a great way to expressing their thoughts and emotions by using the other chakras located below. They communicate from their heart chakra by speaking loving words, they know who they are in their solar plexus and others opinions are respected but not always followed. They take responsibility for their feelings but don’t overreact or abuse them – instead they respect and honor where they are, enabling them to speak their truth.
People whose throat chakra is too open or is excessive, may be over talkative (feel like they have to in order to be heard). They may even be arrogant and feel they know everything! You can spot these people a mile away because I swear they don’t breathe! They just keep talking your ear off 🙂 A person who has an excessive throat chakra, not only is it draining to the person who is listening but they are using a lot of energy to get their feelings out! Usually, there is a deficient chakra close by since the throat chakra is taking SO MUCH ENERGY!
If you are finding yourself clearing your throat a lot, have a sore throat or not speaking up – take a look at your throat chakra.
